KEA UGCET Scorecard Release Timeline
“The results were delayed till the first week of June due to practicals of the farm science courses. On June 1, the practical exams were conducted by the University of Agricultural Sciences at the Hiriyur center. As these practical scores are very important for the agriculture ranks, KEA waited for these marks to prepare the final rank list.
Officials confirmed that the entry test marks and Class 12 board exam marks are combined to prepare the final merit list. This double-check helps avoid any mistakes before the links go live on the internet.
KCET Rank List and Tie-Breaking Rules
The authority calculates the final ranks using a 50-50 formula. The system takes 50% weightage from the marks scored in physics, chemistry, and mathematics/biology in the KCET exam, and the other 50% comes from the Class 12 board exam marks in the same subjects.
| Priority | Criteria |
| 1 | Higher Mathematics Marks in KCET |
| 2 | Higher Physics Marks in KCET |
| 3 | Higher Chemistry Marks in KCET |
| 4 | Older Candidate (Age Preference) |
If two or more students get the exact same total score, KEA uses fixed rules to break the tie, as shown above. First, the student with higher marks in mathematics gets a better rank. If the tie continues, physics marks are checked, followed by chemistry marks. If everything is still equal, the older student gets the higher rank position on the merit list.
